The 74-story Water Tower Place features an eight-story mall with over 100 shops. Recognizable brands here include Macy’s department store, Abercrombie & Fitch, Banana Republic, Coach, Forever 21, Lego, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, the official Chicago Clubs Clubhouse Shop, and many more fashion and specialty stores. Other major retailers along Michigan Avenue include flagship stores for brands such as Apple, Nike, and Neiman Marcus.
 
Head to the 360 Chicago Observation Deck on the 94 th floor of the John Hancock Center, the third-tallest residential building in the world, for one of the most impressive views over the Chicago skyline. Other attractions inside include the 95th-floor Signature Room restaurant and 96th-floor Signature Lounge for cocktails, both of which enjoy panoramic views over the city. The 3,300-foot Navy Pier juts out into Lake Michigan and combines a wealth of attractions with sweeping lakefront views. Other Pier Park rides and attractions include the Pepsi Wave Swinger, Light Tower, carousel, and climbing walls. Navy Pier is also home to the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, which has won a wealth of awards for its productions of classic and contemporary plays. Also at Navy Pier, the Chicago Children’s Museum has three floors of hands-on art and science exhibits.
 
Near Water Town Place and the Magnificent Mile, The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is a stunning piece of architecture containing one of the world’s largest collections of contemporary art. Along with a permanent collection featuring works from post-war artists such as Francis Bacon and Andy Warhol, the MCA hosts a wide array of premier limited-time exhibitions.
